Train Confidently
With Professionally Are They Tough? Are They The Best?
"I practice Kali with my students 7 days a week. Not one student has
ever returned an (East West) stick. No cracks, splits, or peeling. I have
tried other companies' rattan products and returned them within 30 days
in most cases. I am very, very satisfied with your product...To invest
in another company's rattan product's, in my opinion, is a waste of time
and money." Sincerely Yours, "I would like to say that your sticks are the best I've used...in the
style of fighting we do...I've broken other sticks on shins, arms, heads
and against other sticks. I have never broken one of yours in over two
years of use! The quality of the sticks shows a pride in what you do and
allows me a sense of confidence in what I do. They also hold up very well
in Sinawali Drills and Krabi-Krabong training, both of which can be very
hard on sticks. I find that your sticks will outlast 2, 3, sometimes even
4 pairs we had previously been using." Guro Kevin, "I wanted to write and tell you that your sticks are absolutely
the best I've ever used! When I think of all the money I've wasted over
the years on other people's JUNK, it makes me want to tell every FMA practitioner
I know to call you. No Joke! Your sticks are the best sticks out there." To Guro Seaman, "I just wanted you to know how much we enjoy using your excellent Sibats.Initially, we bought them for our Kali program where all students are required to own one. Very quickly, however, we realized what an asset they would be in our Karate program as well. In our Isshin Ryu Karate program we do Bo-Bo, Bo-Sai, and Bo-Tonfa kata and free-form fighting. Bo breakage and resulting safety issues had long been a problem for us, even with the use of heavy duty, expensive oak staffs. So far not a single one has broken and the students can safely use much more power in their techniques. I now require all my karate students to own a kumite bo (your
Sibat) in addition to their regular bo when they reach the blue belt level.
I highly recommend that all karate instructors consider using your sibats
in their kata and fighting programs. By far the BEST sticks on the planet. I have had the same pair for years
and they are still going.

I'd like to introduce myself, my name is Kevin Seaman. I feel I have something in common with you. As a martial artist I have always been focused on quality instruction and equipment in the field I love, and it is my intuition this is your focus as well. For the past 38 years (30 years in the Filipino martial arts alone)
I would like to offer you the opportunity to try what many feel is the finest Fire Hardened Rattan Stick available on the market today. Instructors have told me that my sticks have outlasted other sticks 4-5 times. Over the past 20 years East West Sales has worked with a simple concept. Provide martial artists, like ourselves, with top quality fire hardened rattan sticks in custom sizes and at reasonable prices. This basically came about out of frustration with the sticks that were available on the market. They were totally inadequate for the type of training that we do. Most of the rattan was peeled. The skin is what provides the strength and durability. Peeling the rattan made it light and fragile. Then to try to compensate for the lack of durability, due to peeling, these manufacturers would apply a thick coat of polyurethane or varnish (or what-ever's cheapest) to help restrengthen the product. The end result was a weak, highly processed stick. To make matters worse, the impact during training would break down the synthetic covering, making it airborne, and part of our oxygen supply. Most of their rattan was inferior to begin with. East West has always started with a superior quality of raw rattan and processed it using traditional methods developed by Filipino Masters. Quality has always been our focus! If you have any questions feel free to contact me. Thank you again for your interest! P.S. Thanks for your inquiry, I am certain you will be very pleased with the quality of our products. I look forward to hearing from you! BUY WITH
CONFIDENCE!
